Dr. Khalid Ahmad is a board certified Pediatric Pulmonologist and sleep Medicine Physician. He graduated from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and received his subspecialty training through the Stony Brook School of Medicine. He worked at the Stony Brook University Medical Center before taking a challenging position at King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the last three years. King Fahad Medical City is the primary referral center for the Ministry of Health, covering 70% of the country’s population, allowing Dr Ahmad to see a good number of rare cases in the field of pediatric pulmonary and sleep medicine. He also relished educational opportunities that he took part in with his fellows, residents and medical students.
He has placed his family first through out his life and came back to the US so his older daughters (and children) can pursue more opportunities for quality higher education.
Also, Dr Ahmad has enjoyed giving his time to volunteering efforts in New York, Central America and Asia. He’s looking forward to becoming involved in the Tampa community. Please feel free to come up to Dr Ahmad and advise him on how he can help within the community.
